On Wednesday, March 6, US Senator Rand Paul spoke for nearly 13 hours in a filibuster to stop a vote on President Obama‘s nominee for CIA Director, John Brennan. The filibuster ended in the early morning of Thursday, March 7. Brennan was confirmed that day.
